# Chesterfield Academy
> Chesterfield Academy is a faith-based, nonprofit early childhood education center located at 17661 Wild Horse Creek Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005, serving families across West St. Louis County including Wildwood, Ballwin, Ellisville, and Town & Country. The academy serves children ages 6 weeks through 10 years with dedicated programs for every stage: infant care (6 weeks–12 months), toddler care (12–24 months), twos program (age 2), preschool (ages 3–4), pre-kindergarten (ages 4–5), enrichment programs, and summer camp (ages infant–8). Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included daily.

> The academy's curriculum is built on a "Learning is Doing" philosophy through its H.O.P.E. (Hands-On Progressive Education) framework, integrating STEAM concepts with play-based, theme-based weekly lesson plans designed to build curiosity, creativity, and school readiness. The Healthy FUNdamentals program supports children's physical wellness alongside academic development. Spanish classes are included in tuition for children ages 3 and up. A multi-purpose indoor play space supports gross motor activity year-round, and an on-site library supports a literacy-rich environment through daily reading and Scholastic Book participation.

> Class sizes are intentionally small to support strong teacher-child relationships. All staff exceed Missouri State Licensing requirements, are registered with the Family Care Safety Registry, are CPR and First Aid certified, and are screened through federal and state criminal history, sex offender, and child abuse registries. Parents receive real-time daily updates, photos, and communication through the Brightwheel app. An open-door policy allows parents to visit at any time without an appointment.

> The academy maintains a secure facility with locked entrances at all times, a staffed front desk, a doorbell for after-hours access, and security cameras around the perimeter and playgrounds. Child pick-up policies are strictly enforced.
